Photoshoot with Cass

I went to Cassie's house on the 23rd and Brynn took some pretty wicked awesome pictures! It was really dark and so all the Christmas lights were on. First, we made tie-dye snowflakes, then we went to Jamba Juice, THEN we had the photoshoot, THEN we went to Subway.....THEN we watched Christmas With The Kranks, THEN jk my mom came then I forgot my camera and I went home:( But it was soooo fun! We also took MORE pictures. But here are a few.

Christmas/Snowflakes/Happy Birthday!

FYI: This is going to be a really long post! Probably the longest you have EVER seen!

I am about to post about Nick's Birthday (12/28), Christmas, and making snowflakes with Cassie.

FIRST: Nick's Birthday: My brother, Nick, turned ten yesterday. Our grandma and grandpa came over for dinner and cake. Nick was happy that he was finally double digits! We had dinner. a LOVELY dinner. My mom made rolls, roast, mashed potatoes, green beans and salad! YUMMY! EVERYTHING was ALL gone after dinner. Nick didn't open any presents because he went to Toys R Us with my mom and I to pick them out. Hey at least my mom didn't have to wrap! Happy birthday Nick! Love ya!

SECOND: CHRISTMAS!!!!!! This Christmas was very fun because it was our first one in our new house! It felt kinda different not being in our other house! My favorite present was the iPod touch. Here are some others:

LASTLY: snowflakes!

Last Tuesday, I went to Cassie's house. We went online and printed up ten circles. We then cut them out and folded them. We cut different shapes and VOILA! Snowflakes! But, we had a problem. A BIG problem. The snowflakes were boring! So, we took Cassie's paint set and walked the the end of the street to the park. (more like a patch of green grass) Then we flicked paint on them. I used Christmas colors and I look over at Cassie, and she is using Jewish colors! (by accident of course....unless she is hiding something...;) We walked home and let them dry. Brynn took pictures of us (photoshoot) besides different Christmas decorations. (she just needs to email the pictures to me) Then I went home and taped the b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l snowflakes to my ceiling.

Merry Christmas!!

Okay, sorry. I'm kind of late on the whole, "Merry Christmas" thingy. I had NO time whatsoever yesterday:) Yesterday, as you all know was Christmas. The celebration of Christ's birth. All of us kids woke up quite early.

10 year old Nick: 5:50

8 year old madison: 6:10

15 year old Blake: 6:30

Me: 7:10

17 year old Ryan: 8:00

So I didn't win for waking up the earliest OR the latest. But we did have a great time as a family. I got some great presents both from my family and extended family. But, my favorite gift was the iPod touch. I am IN LOVE with it. Others include:

I didn't take pictures because I left my camera at a friend's house. After all of the present opening, My dad made us delicious eggs and pancakes! Then, we played with our stuff. (well I put in Nick's code on Webkinz) then we went to see a movie with the Browns. Overall, I had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you did too!! So, leave a comment! What did you get??

MERRY CHRISTMAS (EVE)!!!!!!

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,

In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,

But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,

With a little old driver, so lively and quick,

I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.

More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,

And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;

"Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!

On, Comet! on Cupid! on, Donnerand Blitzen!

To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!

Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!"

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,

When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,

So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,

With the sleigh full of toys, and St. Nicholas too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof

The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.

As I drew in my hand, and was turning around,

Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.

He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,

And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot;

A bundle of toys he had flung on his back,

And he looked like a peddler just opening his pack.

His eyes -- how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!

His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!

His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,

And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow;

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,

And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath;

He had a broad face and a little round belly,

That shook, when he laughed like a bowlful of jelly.

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,

And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself;

A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,

Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,

And filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,

And laying his finger aside of his nose,

And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,

And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.

But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,

"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-night."

Christmas Partay!

ALL of my family and extended family came over tonight to eat, talk, and laugh! We played this game where music starts, and you pass a present around. Then, when the music stops, you unwrap as much as you can until it starts again! My cousin's little boy won!! We had a great time! It feels like Christmas has already passed! I feel sooo full! Maybe even more filled than I was after Thanksgiving!!
