EQUALS A FUN, EASTER DINNER!

Tomorrow, after church, two families are coming over for a pre-Easter dinner. We will be on vacation next week. The week after that is Easter and normally, we don't cook much after a vacation, so this will be our Easter dinner! Above pictures is our preparation....
More pictures to come

Home Arts!!

We have a class at our school called Home Arts. I love it! It is sewing and cooking. So far, I have sewn:

A pin cushion

A leopard pull bag

A seahorse shaped pillow!

Sewing and cooking are very important to me because my grandma (on my dad's side) has taught me how to sew and cook! She is the best at both those things. She bought me a great sewing machine and over the years, I have forgotten how to thread the machine and how to take the bobbin thread up through the bobbin case. Now I know! That is the picture of the seahorse I sewed and I took her/him home yesterday. Lexi and Caitlin likes to call her Coral but Ridgely and I like to call her Susie. (as in Susie the Seahorse)

fun in science...yes, another post.

Our class pet Winston! Who i LOVE!

Winston: Oh no! Let me out!

Yes Cassie, good job paying attention!

She's distracted.

This is what happens when you have a substitute in science that lets you pretty much hang out the whole time. The weirdest things happens in science. Whenever we move seats, our regular teacher always moves Cassie and I next to eachother....even though sometimes we talk. But, when we don't talk, she tells us not to. Then she moves us away from eachother. Then, when the whole class moves seats, we sit next to eachother. It is so funny because she is always like, "Did I make a mistake?" and Cassie and I always say, "Nope it says right there on your clipboard that we are next to eachother!

This is the first time we haven't sat next to eachother:(

A hole right through!

nick had a science project and it was, "Does a candle burn longer with more or less oxygen?" well, we ruined the plastic bowl but then switched to glass ones. But hey! It still works......if you put a finger in it;)

I want s'more!

I made S'morz parfait's!
You can't really distinguish the layers but it was gooood!

Lurve my new background!

it's cute, simple, and green!
What do you think?

basketball

Last night, we had a basketball sleepover. It was really exciting! And fun! We played Apples to Apples, Spoons(Kindly Brynn taught us.....or at least tried;) and watched Mall Cop. Then, we went to bed after the alarm went off because Sydney was hot so she opened the door on accident. But that made it interesting. After some more talking we finally went to bed. But a couple people left and didn't spend the night:( At 6:50, we woke up to donuts brought by Sister Profancik, and muffins. Then we rushed to get ready for our last game! We knew we were going to lose when we saw who we were playing. Alisa Park. All laurels. All play HS basketball. But, it was a really memorable game because we played a trick or a joke on the other team. One at a time, my dad slipped in one or two players. Soon, we had 7 players on our side. They caught us BUT at the last 15 seconds, all 10 of us went in, stole the ball and shot! Hahaa. Marinne's dad took a video of it and he needs to put it on a CD and give it to all the YW! It was so funny because everyone on the other team was confused. Although we lost, I will always remember that game and I am so excited for the next season! The sleepover and the game was really fun, but, I was REALLY missing (I think we were all missing) Cassie because she had the flu. FEEL BETTER CASS!!! <333
